“ From the moment we arrived at this unassuming two-star hotel, I knew it would be a stay to remember. While my wife initially mistook it for a 12-story rice restaurant (a quirky mix-up we still laugh about), it quickly became clear that this place had a lot more to offer than expected. The hotel is ideally located just a stone's throw from the main station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. Whether you're hopping on a train or catching a bus - which conveniently never run to time, you're well-connected. I was pleasantly surprised to see life buoys in every bus – an amusing yet thoughtful touch that added to the charm of our stay. I later learned no one in the city has drowned on a bus, an exceptional safety record. The reception staff went above and beyond, with their friendly demeanor and eagerness to help, which made us feel at home right away. Their hospitality truly made a difference during our visit. As a bonus, I indulged in my favorite treat—Häagen-Dazs ice cream. It was the perfect end to a perfect stay. All in all, while this hotel may not be the most luxurious, it offers great value, exceptional location, and a personal touch that left us with fond memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy, well-located stay with a bit of character. ”
“ Can't beat the location right across from the train station, and where virtually every bus line in the city meets. Front staff is amazing and beyond helpful. Rooms vary in size, and some are quite spacious. Like many local hotels in Taiwan the beds are very firm, and the shower lacks a door so tends to leak on the floor (but lots of high pressure and hot water which isn't always true at many Taiwan local hotels). ”
“ The staffs are very nice and very accommodating. Leticia and Jenny were very nice assisting us during the check out. Booking is so easy and the place is just opposite the train station and very near to some tourist spots. ”
“ My experience with the Tie Dao Hotel in Tainan has already been outstanding, setting a new standard for customer service. The professionalism and warmth of the staff, particularly the store manager, Zi, are truly remarkable. From the moment I connected with her, Zi greeted me with a sincere and genuinely warm smile. Her commitment to guest satisfaction was immediately clear as she went above and beyond to accommodate my request for an early check-in. This was crucial for me as I have an urgent online business technology test that requires certain room conditions. She efficiently arranged this for a very reasonable fee of just 150 TWD. As a kind courtesy, she even gave me a tour of some of the bigger rooms, showcasing the hotel's thoughtful design and comfort. This level of care and attention has already made me feel incredibly welcome and confident about my upcoming stay. Beyond the superb service, the hotel's location is a major highlight. Situated directly across from the Tainan train station, it offers unmatched convenience for any traveler. Based on this preliminary interaction, I can confidently say the Tie Dao Hotel combines an amazing location with what appears to be the most professional and attentive service. My heartfelt thanks to Zi and the team for making the process so pleasant and stress-free. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tainan, even before they've had a chance to stay. ”
